Call Me Mister meeting, Thursday November 12 at 4 p.m.
The Call Me Mister program is an initiative with across the country to bring young black males into the teaching field by providing them with a free education in exchange for teaching in under-served communities of Philadelphia. Locally, PSU is partnering with the Southeast PA Network and Cheyney University to expose young people to this program. There will be a meeting on Thursday November 12 from 4-6 p.m. at 702 Market St. for young people that are interested in this program, which will provide with you a free college education in exchange for your willingness to teach in Philly public schools.
